CSES Schools' Competition Awards Evening 2015

Winners of the awards at our Schools' Competition will be invited to attend our prestigious awards evening at Anglia Ruskin University.

If you win an award, you will be informed of your success during the weeks following the competition and will be sent an invitation for you and up to two guests to attend the awards ceremony and collect your prize.

The awards evening will be held at the Michael Ashcroft Building of Anglia Ruskin University on Thursday 16 July 2015. The event will start at 19.00 when winners and their guests will enjoy welcome canapés and sparkling drinks. The awards ceremony will follow, and will include guest speakers, prize-giving and photographs. The evening will come to a close at 21.00.

Please note that the dress code is formal: students must wear school uniform or smart dress. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

Evening outline

19.00 – The evening begins

Please arrive by 19.00. You will be welcomed with refreshments on the mezzanine floor of the Michael Ashcroft Building. Competition photos on display will give you the opportunity to remember all of the winning entries from the day.

19.20 – Awards ceremony

Winners and guests will be seated in the lecture theatre for the welcome address followed by the awards ceremony. Prizes will be distributed and winners' photographs taken.

20.40 – Photography

A photographer will be available for individuals and groups who wish to have their photographs taken outside the lecture theatre.

21.00 – Event close

Other important notes

Unless indicated in writing otherwise, all entrants provide permission for images of themselves and their work, taken at the competition and award ceremony events, to be published. Please note that these are public events which may be attended by the press.

We may be able to release more guest tickets than the numbers advised above, but will only know this nearer the time. If you would like to bring more guests please do ask but we cannot guarantee availability as we are constrained by the room capacity.
