Build a working alarm system with a Raspberry Pi

Come along to this workshop, hosted in collaboration with e2v, IET and exploreSTEM, to learn how to control and monitor electronics with a Raspberry Pi computer.

The Raspberry Pi is a small credit card-sized computer that is programmable, but can also be used to connect to electronic circuits. In this workshop, you will wire up and program a simple alarm system using a movement sensor, showing how both electronics and computer programming can be used together to create a real working product.

Technical support will be on hand to help you complete the project and to learn about the very exciting process that is Raspberry Pi development.
