CSES Schools' Engineering and Technology Competition 2015

Whether you are taking part, a member of the Society, or want to see what technology work the local schools have been getting up to, please come along to our Schools' Engineering and Technology Competition on Friday 26 June at Anglia Ruskin University.

Entering the competition

You can now enter the competition online. Please read the guidance notes first and follow the link from there.

When you attend on 26 June, you will present your work at a display stand (for which you will need to prepare in advance) and will be assessed by a team of experienced and knowledgeable judges. Please make sure you bring the actual project, if you can, plus any supporting material and documentation. Please mark on the entry form if you will require mains power or a display board (see below) to exhibit your project.

We can provide a standard folding desktop display stand to which you may attach your display material. This will be available when you arrive on the day. The dimensions of the stand are as follows:

Venue and access

The competition will take place at the Anglia Ruskin University Rivermead Campus in Chelmsford, in the Marconi Building which is towards the rear of the site if approached from New Street/Rectory Lane.

Please note that limited parking will be available on the day: details of this will be advised individually to entrants nearer the time. It will not be possible to park right outside the building so please ensure you bring appropriate means to transport your project if it is large or heavy.

Alternatively, do consider using the Chelmer Valley Park and Ride, which will put you right outside the door!
