Free one-day workshop with local artist Sian Fan:
- Explore Chelmsford's waterways
- Learn 3D scanning
- Experiment with underwater filming
Open to all ages, interests and skills. No experience necessary. All equipment provided.
Experiment with art and technology with artist Sian Fan on an outdoor workshop along the river Chelmer. You will learn to create 3D scans using photogrammetry, capturing objects and areas of interest. You will also have a go at underwater filming, recording footage of the riverbed. Material gathered during the workshop will form part of a new digital artwork, commissioned by Essex Cultural Diversity Project and Chelmsford City Council.
Workshops will be in line with Covid guidelines. Groups will have a max of 4 participants. As spaces are limited, they will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
